done with year two
I took my last bit of finals and had my jury today for my spring semester. I’m SO HAPPY to be done. It has been one of the most hectic and at at the same time non-motivated semesters ever.
I’m only worried about my grade in one class.. the percussion two method. The teacher has been a professor since before I was born and he’s a total hardass on us. It’s funny becuase I’ve never failed a class before and of all classes to fail a percussion class? Fortunately it doesn’t look like I’m going to, so I’m happy about that.
Overall, I think I did really well in my classes, I’ll find out soon. I’m proud of myself for doing especially well for my jury. No being nervous or anything! In fact, my teacher called me a few hours later to let me know I was the only one that recieved an A from both teachers. I’m really happy becuase it makes me feel like I’ve actually accomplished something in advancing my skills a little bit.
I move out of school tomorrow and then I’m out of the dorm life for good hopefully. My roommate, 2 other girls, and I are moving into a 4-bedroom apartment next semester. I’m really excited about it.. finally, my own room! I think I might have gone crazy if I had to share a room any longer. Annnd we’ll have a KITCHEN! I can’t wait, I love to cook. Now I can make breakfast at odd hours in the day. I love scrambled eggs. =D
